Curves

Curves. An iPhone shot taken at the wonderful Hiroshi Sugimoto exhibition in the Hayward Gallery at London's Southbank Centre, in autumn 2023, and processed on the phone using the Snapseed app. It followed a club session on the benefits of smartphone photography – 'The Best Camera is the One You Have With You' – and a follow-up competition, which started me thinking of my phone camera as more than just a record-keeping device. I am amazed at the sharpness and level of detail achieved on such a tiny sensor in a pretty old iPhone.
