Twisted Brick

Twisted Brick. Wandering around near Tower Bridge in London with the interesting and very sharp Nikon 105mm f/2.0 DC lens, I came across a small circular courtyard surrounded by a curved apartment building finished with blue-glazed bricks or tiles, and with striking orange balconies. And interesting diagonal paned windows. I hesitate to put a date on its design, but of course it was irresistible. In post-processing I've straightened the verticals – as I do – and cropped very carefully to keep the very ends of the window sills left and right.

Technical: NIKON D800, f=105.0 mm, ISO200, 1/1000 sec @ f4.0
